  • Laser Cutting: Is a process that utilizes a laser to cut materials usually for industrial manufacturing applications. Laser cutting operates by channeling a ray of a high power laser at the sheet of metal to be cut, leaving an edge with a high quality surface finish.
  • CNC Turning: Turning is the process whereby a single point cutting tool is parallel to the surface. When turning, a piece of metal is rotated and a cutting tool is traversed along 2 axes of motion to produce precise diameters and depths.
  • CNC Milling: Cutting and shaping materials into products with milling machines. Milling machines exist in two basic forms: horizontal and vertical, which terms refer to the orientation of the cutting tool spindle, involving movement of the work piece against the rotating cutter, the latter of which is able to cut on its flanks as well as its tip.
  • Metal Stamping: This procedure includes a variety of sheet-metal forming manufacturing processes, such as punching, using a machine press or stamping press, blanking, embossing, bending, flanging, and coining. This could be a single stage operation where every stroke of the press produce the desired form on the sheet metal part, or could occur through a series of stages.
  • Fabrication and Wielding: Fabrication applies to the building of machines, structures and other equipment, by cutting, shaping and assembling components usually through wielding. Fabrication and precision wielding are accomplished through ABF’s experienced craftsmen. In critical and/or repetitive applications, productions in enhanced with the use of robotic wielding for speed and 100% consistency/repeatability.
  • Rolling and Tube Bending: In metalworking, rolling is a metal forming process in which metal stock is passed through a pair of rolls, usually ending up in a shape of a tube. Straight tube stock can be formed using a bending machine to create a variety of single or multiple bends and to shape the piece into the desired form.
  • Toll and Die Making: Tool making implies manufacturing tooling used to produce products, and is often necessary to fabricate custom tools or modify standard ones. Die making is a subgenre of tool making that focuses on making and maintaining dies.
  • Plastic Injection Molding: This is a manufacturing process for producing parts from both thermoplastic and thermosetting plastic materials. Material is fed into a heated barrel, mixed, and forced into a mold cavity where it cools and hardens to the configuration of the mold cavity.
  • Sub-Assembly and Full Assembly:  Take advantage of the convenient assembly & packaging services offered by ABF.
